Castle View Family Newsletter
December 21, 2022
Hello, Castle View Families:
I hope you have Happy Holidays and a restful, healthy break.
In the coming weeks, as students continue to prepare to register for coursework for next year, they will have the opportunity to explore and express interest in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Concurrent Enrollment (CE) offerings across our district. To help you discuss those options, district leaders have compiled this DCSD CTE and CE Programming Guide. Please take a minute to look through the opportunities available and think through if any are of interest. If they are, your student will have the opportunity to fill out a request form for programs at other high schools and the Legacy Campus when they return from break.
As always, thank you for sharing your kids with us. It is our honor to serve them.

We are in search of several adult volunteers to proctor Advanced Placement exams in early May 2023. Volunteer proctors will allow our teachers and special service providers to stay in classrooms helping students learn rather than proctoring half-day exams.
Commitment: One 90-minute training in mid-April 2023 and one four-hour morning or afternoon session May 1-5 or 8-12 2023. All training will be provided.
Please fill out this interest survey if you would consider helping us out.
Scholarship Opportunity for CV Students!
The Audrey Claire Todd Memorial Scholarship will award $5,000 to one deserving student, and the deadline to apply is April 1, 2023. You can find the full details at the scholarship page here: https://bold.org/scholarships/audrey-claire-todd-memorial-scholarship/
