Class of 2016
September Newsletter...On the Road to Success
We have finally made it to senior year! Schedules are set, GPA's are ready to go, and you should be completing your final round of testing! So, what's next? As many of you know, college applications have gone live! That means that you can start applying to most schools today. Things to keep in mind:
- Early Action: Allows students to apply to schools early (meaning before the regular decision deadline) without any obligation to attend the school if accepted. Make sure that you are a good candidate for early action before applying.
- Early Decision: You can only apply to one college during the early decision process. If the student is accepted then they are legally obligated to attend the school. (Think it through before you apply using this route.) Make sure that you are a strong candidate before applying.
- Regular Admission: Typical route for most students. You can apply to as many schools as you would like. It's important that all of your materials are in before the deadline!
