English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Meeting Rescheduled
The meeting will still be from 6:00-7:30 P.M. and will take place in the MP room.
ALL are welcome to join! This meeting will focus on gathering feedback from our ELAC community about district supports and services. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
Title 1 Parent Meeting
Arcade's annual Title 1 Parent Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15th from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. right before our December PTO meeting.
If you are interested in learning more about the funding that Arcade receives and what it means to be a Title 1-funded school, this meeting is for you.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

Benefits for San Juan employees:
There is currently a hiring bonus for new candidates to the district. The pay range for BIAs is $15.00 - $18.72 an hour, medical benefits are paid 100% for employees and 75% for dependents, and there are CalPERS retirement benefits.

Groundbreaking Ceremony ~ Friday, December 9th at 9:00AM
Arcade families,
You’re invited to join us as we officially kick-off our campus modernization project with a groundbreaking ceremony at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9.
The ceremony program will include short speeches followed by an opportunity for attendees to take a groundbreaking photo with a hard hat and shovel, and see renderings of the future campus.
The modernization project at Arcade includes construction of a brand-new multipurpose room, administration building, science wing and maker space, as well as a full renovation and expansion of the parking lot and drop-off zone. Additional exterior site improvements including security fencing will also be included in the project scope.

Volunteer Information for 2022-2023 School Year
The San Juan Unified School District has implemented new processes and regulations for the 2022-2023 school year. Even if you have volunteered at other schools, the district is still requiring that EVERYONE who has not filled out the online form last year sign up through the online process in order to volunteer at Arcade.
If you are not sure if you filled out the online link, please email Ms. Biggs at monica.biggs@sanjuan.edu and she can check to see if you completed the form last year.
