The high school does Soaring Eagle Awards at the end of each quarter throughout the year. A Soaring Eagle exhibits outstanding character, discipline, behavior, effort, resiliency, and a positive attitude. On Wednesday, November 10, the high school held a pep rally to recognize students nominated for a Soaring Eagle Award.

Externship Day
b.e.s.t Universal Screening
Our high school teachers used the b.e.s.t. universal screener to screen their third-hour students on November 2. The primary purpose for universal screening of emotional, behavioral, and social issues would be to help identify children who appear to be functioning well, and those children who may, by reason of personal/social problems, have limited capabilities of functioning in the classroom. The data will be used from the b.e.s.t. screening to develop interventions that will help our students succeed in and out of the classroom. We will be doing this screening one more time later this school year.
Safety Fire Drill
Chequamegon High School and Class ACT conducted a fire drill on Friday, November 12, at 1:05 p.m. There were 234 students and 36 staff members that participated in the drill.
