Complete the Virtual Tiger Check-in by Tuesday, July 27th so you don't have to come to the Face-to-Face Tiger Check-In on Thursday, July 29th.

Step #3: What documentation will I need to upload? (REQUIRED)

  • Immunization records - must be SIGNED or STAMPED by the physician or his/her designee or public health personnel (including MyChart records) - typically for 7th grade, but required during a child's 11th year of age
  • Proof of residency in Humble ISD
    • For students residing in a house, the lease, deed, or a utility (gas, water, electricity) bill dated between June 1st -present is required.
    • For students residing in an apartment, a lease containing parent and student names or a letter from apartment manager is required.
    • If both parent and student live with a relative or friend in Humble ISD whose residence is not an apartment, (1) the parent and the person with whom they reside must submit a notarized Verification of Address affidavit form and (2) must BOTH be present at the time of registration to participate in a face to face interview with an administrator. Email the campus registrar to request the required form.
  • NOTE: Failure to provide either of these documents would prevent you from completing your registration, and would affect your child having a schedule on the first day of classes.

Parent / Guardian Request for Assistance Form

Step #4: MUST DO! Complete Schoology Parent Account (REQUIRED)

All parents are required to create a Schoology parent account that is linked to their student. Parents that have already created an account will not need to create a new account. Schoology is AMS’s primary form of mass parent communication.

Returning 7th & 8th grade AMS students who haven't registered for a Schoology parent account can create their account at this time. Directions to create a parent Schoology account can be found at this link.

Incoming 6th grade OR new-to-HISD 7th/8th grade students will need to wait until July 30 to start their Schoology parent account as we wait on the district for Schoology access codes.

Step #5: Print/Review Child's Schedule on August 9th

Schedules will be viewable in HAC August 9, 2021 (PM)

New Course Available for 7th graders

Humble ISD is funding a new, exciting year-long course for 6th graders -- CTE Exploration Wheel - to explore 8 different CTE (career & technology) fields in hands-on, engaging activities. Read this one-page flyer for more information.

This course is now available for AMS 7th graders. If a 7th grade parent would like to request a change to their child's schedule into this CTE Exploration Wheel you can email Crystal.Nichols@humbleisd.net.

2021-2022 Schedule Change/Correction Request

2021-2022 Schedule Change/Correction Request

IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! NEXT YEAR is DEPENDENT ON accurate course selections submitted for your child THIS YEAR! Schedule changes in August lead to an imbalance (classes over the limit and some lower than the limit) in class sizes. Please review the following information below to make a change due to an error. Changes other than level changes will not be permitted.

Schedule corrections may be made by a counselor ONLY if there is a scheduling error. (EX: The student is missing a math, science, RELA, or history course OR too many core classes).

A level change or schedule correction must be requested by submitting a LEVEL Change/ Correction Request Form by August 13, 2021 (click here).

This form will open for requests to be submitted on Monday August 2nd through Friday August 13th. Please contact your grade level counselor if you do not have a complete schedule or if you have questions regarding your schedule.

Thank you,

AMS Counselors

7th & 8th-grade students can purchase a personal organizer of their choosing. Please make sure the personal organizer has a month-at-a-glance feature AND space to write homework or assessment assignments on a particular day.

Traditional AMS agenda books will still be available for 7th & 8th-grade students who wish to purchase one for $10. [This year AMS does not want to encourage the use of cell phones for calendars & listing homework.]

6th graders will use the AMS agenda book (purchased for $10) so that it can be consistent among students as we teach students how to document assignments during Tiger Time.
