The Peine Pride
November Edition
A Message From Dr. Andrews
Parents/Guardians,
Happy Fall! A few weeks ago Mrs. Molitor and I met with Dr. Stryjewski, Dr. Hector, and Mrs. Bertrand to go over Peine's school improvement plan. All building goals are based upon the Wentzville School District improvement plan. Below are the four goals we will work towards this year:
Goal 1: 80% of our students will make one years growth in reading.
Goal 2: With a continued focus on PBIS and our House system, we will reduce the number of discipline referrals.
Goal 3: Peine Ridge Elementary will become a Trauma Sensitive Environment.
Goal 4: Peine Ridge Elementary will improve student engagement to improve student achievement
As you can see we have large goals to tackle. I know our teachers, support staff, administrators, students, and parents will all pitch in, to work collectively to achieve each of these goals. With our first quarter ending a week ago, I can tell we are already on the way to reaching each of our goals.
Have a great November!

PBIS House Update
First Quarter was wrapped up with a School Wide Rally, which was lead by our 6th grade Amazing Shake team. The 6th graders did an amazing job as Masters of the Ceremony! At the rally, Scholars of the Month were announced and all the Awesome Office visit nominees were put into a basket for one lucky winner to win a shopping spree. Congratulations to Kiersten Brown for winning a shopping spree to Target! September’s Scholars enjoyed a lunch off campus with the principals and have been sporting their new T-shirts around the school.
Remember that every Wednesday is House Day! Wear your House colors to show your school spirit!!
October Scholars of the Month
We are happy to announce our Scholars of the Month for the month of October. One student per grade level is chosen by the teachers as Scholar of the Month. Congratulations to the following students:
Kindergarten: Charley Waldbueser
Charley is such a positive role model! She is caring, helpful and very compassionate. Charley is often asking how she can help others throughout the day. Charley is a very hard worker and always tries her best. She is respectful, responsible and kind all day long! I am so proud of Charley’s hard work and dedication.
First Grade: Ellie Stavron
Ellie is an amazing student and a great role model to her peers! She is always the first to follow directions and is always thinking of others. She is sweet and caring and loves taking care of other people. She always tries her best and perseveres through challenging tasks. She arrives at school each day with a smile, ready to learn and always has a positive attitude. Her friendly attitude makes her a friend to many in and outside of the classroom!
Second Grade: Emma Brockman
Emma Brockman has been chosen as the 2nd-grade Scholar for the month of October because she is a phenomenal student. Emma is not only a positive model for 2nd graders, but she is a role model for the entire school. Emma has shown excellent ability to set goals and be persistent in achieving them. She celebrates her friends when they meet their goals, and cheers them on when they don't. Emma shows the Big 3 every single day and we are so excited that she is our Scholar of the Month!
Third Grade: Danger Wittkoetter
Danger Wittkoetter was chosen as the Third Grade Scholar because he is a great role model for others in the classroom. Danger is kind and respectful to his classmates. He’s always willing to help out or invite a friend to be his partner. Danger is an all-around great student who shares his enthusiasm for reading and writing amazing stories! We’re so proud of you!
Fourth Grade: Sydney Ermeling
Sydney is an awesome student who never gives up. She puts 100% into everything she does inside and outside of the classroom. Not only is she a scholar in the classroom but she is also a great friend and helper. Sydney is always willing to help a fellow classmate as well as displaying the Peine 25 daily. She faces challenges with a positive attitude and never gives up. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you.
Fifth Grade: Keaton Sutton
Keaton is a fun-loving, super nice person. He is always responsible, respectful, and kind. When others are successful, he usually is one of the first to celebrate and offer praise. Throughout the day, everything he tackles is done with 100% effort. I've witnessed him being a good friend and classmate. Not only is he focused on school but he has an awesome sense of humor that has made us laugh
Sixth Grade: Brady Tebow
Brady Tebow is our 6th-grade Scholar of the Month. Brady is always spotted doing the right thing, being kind to everyone, and demonstrates great focus and work ethic in the classroom as well. Brady is always smiling which brings a smile to all of his 6th-grade teachers’ faces.
A Message From the Counselors
Dear Peine Families,
The Holidays are nearly upon us! In an effort to support our community, we are participating in The Holiday Assistance Program again this year. The Way Church is working with us to support several families again this year and we are asking for classroom teachers to join the effort to support our community.
Classroom teachers will be volunteering to adopt families for their students to collect donations. When a classroom adopts a family, the teacher will send out the wish list items their class will need to collect.
If you wish to contribute, please contact the classroom teacher or the counselors. We will pick up wish list items daily to be stored. ALL ITEMS WILL BE DUE BY DECEMBER 14th!.
Thank you for supporting families in need this holiday season!
Sincerely,
Your Counselors
