Grandparents day in Elementary
Our annual grandparents day was a great success again this year. Thank you for coming.
Art Festival
Grandparents were able to walk thru our 1st Art festival during grandparents day.
Music Program
Grandparents enjoyed music & a performance from our 5th grade band!

6th Grade TAG
6th Grade TAG students have been working on animal research and just finished yesterday. Hannah Prescott and Kaylee Cornelius chose to make biomes for their animal project and Lucas Shryock and Wes Peters chose to make slide presentations.

Our last RIF (Reading is Fundamental) of the year was in April.
Middle School student council.
The Middle School student council came over to read to our lower elementary students.
4th graders playing migration hopscotch.
The Iowa State extension came over to present Water Rocks to our upper elementary students.

Thank you to all who donated blood at the National Honor Society's Spring Blood Drive. Even though we had to cut the drive short because of the weather, we had 2 first time donors, collected 17 units, and saved 51 lives!

Student Pick up/Drop off @ MS/HS
Pick up/Drop off @ MS/HS: The south and east entrances will be used for all students who walk or get dropped off before and after school. The west side (bus loop) will be BUS pick up and drop off ONLY from 7:00AM-5:00PM.
Please use visitor parking spots in the parking lot when dropping off or picking up students during the day.

It’s that time of year again! It’s time for Iowa’s Best Country, KIX 101.1 & Central Office Supply, a division of Minute Man, in Marshalltown to team up & PACK THE BACKPACK for area teachers! Don’t forget to remind ALL your teachers, parents & even students to nominate those teachers who go above & beyond to help out their students, classrooms, other teachers or the entire school!
