NOVEMBER 2022
BE KIND:TO YOUR FUTURE
For the month of November, we will focus on College and Career Readiness. Students will participate in Xello. Xello is a program that helps students create their very own unique roadmap for future success-whether it involves a trade, college, university, entrepreneurship, or other training. The program consists of activities that build upon core concept of career/life learning.
K-2 activities include: Investigation and Inquiry; About Me; Me and My Community; and Career/Life Skills Vocabulary.
3-5 activities include: Mindset; Self-Management Skills; Learning Skills; and Social Skills.
IT'S GenTX MONTH!
All over Texas, students are stepping up, finding their voices, and fueling the movement called Generation TX. Generation TX puts students on the right path to college and career readiness and education.
Although our students are in elementary school, it is never too early to get them thinking about and preparing for their future.
We will recognize and celebrate GenTX month with a dress-up week and by highlighting different careers on morning announcements.
