Annual CAREER Day
Hunt Middle School’s Career Day is on the horizon, and we hope that you will
volunteer to share your professional experiences with our students to make this day truly rewarding. We invite all adults who are interested in stimulating and enriching our students’ knowledge by giving them an opportunity to learn about exciting career choices.

October is Cyber Safety Month
October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month which is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity. The Internet touches almost all aspects of everyone’s daily life, whether we realize it or not. National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) is designed to engage and educate the importance of cybersecurity and to provide resources needed to stay safe online.

IB Informational Nights
Frisco ISD will host two informational nights this fall for current eighth grade students and their families to learn more about the planned launch of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Frisco High School. Make plans to attend one of the two sessions - October 25 or November 7 - at 6:30 p.m. at 6401 Parkwood Boulevard in the auditorium.

Career and Tech (CTE) center Interactive Open House
Who: 8th grade students to explore what CTE programs they may be interested in as a 9th grader.
When: Mon, November 5 5:00-6:30Where: Career and Technical Education Center, 9889 Wade Blvd., Frisco, Tx 75035
Description: Visitors will be given a map as they enter the front doors of the CTE center and have the opportunity to interact with CTE courses with hands-on activities or by viewing sample projects as you explore the building and classrooms at your own leisure. Instructors and students will be on hand to answer questions about courses.
Frisco Family Food Drive
Dates: October 15th - October 26th
Details: Please bring in pantry donations to help restock the shelves at Frisco Family Services. The holidays are approaching quickly, and they need our help to fill those shelves for our fellow neighbors in need. All donations will be collected in the cafeteria each morning. Please see the list below for the items that are in need the most.
NJHS Member Donations: All current NJHS members will receive service hours for item donations. Check your email.

Shelf-stable foods Cooking Oil, Salad Dressing, Salsa, Spices, Flour (4 - 5 lb. bags), Meal Helpers (e.g. Hamburger or Tuna Helper), Cake, Muffin, and other baking mixes (i.g. Bisquick), Jell-O, Pancake Syrup, Juice Boxes, Boxes of Crackers, Snack Items, and Granola/Breakfast Bars, Plain/Unsweetened Oatmeal, Condiments: Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Jelly, Relish, etc.
