Continue to FALL into Good Habits!

Believe it or not, Class of 2023, your first nine weeks are over! Lots of things have happened since August! We had a great Homecoming Week, our sports teams are full steam, and our clubs and organizations are following suit. Progress reports are soon to go out on Friday, October 7. Hopefully you like what you see when you receive your progress report. However, if you don't, guess what? You have time to fix it! There is still time to fall into some good habits! The last day of school and graduation seem like they're far, far away, but I promise you... they can and will sneak up on you! Don't get lazy and complacent - stick to your guns and be the best you can be in your academic classes. As well, be the best you can be outside of the classroom, too! As the cooler months and the holidays get closer, continue to show a little empathy and compassion towards your classmates and teachers. You'd want the same done to you, so do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

Friday, October 7th is the date for lunch off campus for students who sold a certain amount of raffle tickets. If you are a WBL student during the time of lunch on that day, you can go eat lunch as normal. Students attending the Industrial Career Day, we can schedule an alternate date. Anyone who is currently failing, Mrs. Parker can check your grades again on Wednesday, October 5 to verify that you are passing and eligible to go to lunch Friday. If you receive/have received ISS/OSS before October 7th, you are no longer eligible to go off campus. However, if you are in good standing next semester with grades and behavior, you can participate in the reward. SIGNED permission forms must be returned to Mrs. Glaze in the CHS Main Office by Thursday, October 6th. Students will need to check into 3rd period before leaving; you will have from 11:45-12:45 for lunch. Any questions, please email Mr. Benham or Mrs. Parker.

Yummy Lix Sucker Fundraiser

Mr. Benham has 32 bags of suckers left! Stop by his classroom, G104 at CMS, to pick up another bag if you like. Remember, each bag is worth $40. Money can be turned in to Mr. Benham or Mrs. Glaze in the CHS Main Office. For one bag sold, $10 will be taken off the price of your prom ticket. For each additional bag, $5 will be taken off. Any student who fails to turn in their money will be placed on the unclear list. This will result in not receiving graduation regalia (cap, gown etc.) until the money is paid.
