STAFF PAWS-I-TIVES

*Thank you Wendy Bauer for helping our students be successful in the classroom! I enjoy working with you! -Erica

*Thank you to Chris and any other media staff who helped to make our “testing space” more private by hanging the orange paper over the open areas and by reminding the students to use quiet voices. We realize that we are in your space and you have to alter your plans to accommodate us. You are all doing an amazing job. Thank you for letting us disrupt your days for the next 2+ weeks.

*Thank you Chris for being so patient with us less savvy tech people ☺ I appreciate all your help!

**Thank you, Steph, for following up with our team about our writing discussion!

*Thank you, Natalie, for being flexible and meeting with us another day for our breakout lesson!

*Thank you, Erica, for writing the first grade grant and for representing our team at PTO!

*Thank you, Char, for following up with Stacey C. about our E math assessment for graphing and our math tracker!

*Thank you to sandy for having everything so organized for ACCESS testing. It makes everything run so smoothly.

*Thank you Jeanne for being my sounding board!

*Thank you, Amy Pass, for always having my back and being the best teaching partner a girl could ask for!

*Thank you to the Third-grade team for always keeping a great balance between work and fun. ☺

*Fischer, thanks for organizing the first Jackson Elementary Polar Plunge team. Can’t wait for next year!

*Many thanks to Char Konietzko and Mandy Knutson for thoughtfully filling out the TIF forms and getting them turned in ahead of time!

*Thank you Matt for shoveling behind my car today!! :)

*Thanks, Marty, for the treat!

*Thanks, Jessica, for the cute puppy fix*

*A huge thank you to Jeff Casey, Sydney, Wendy, Kevin, Masloski, Jen R., Rutter, Natalie, Kathy, Sari, Char, Jenny L., Jane, and Steph Blad for being mystery readers in my classroom this month! My students loved it!

*Thank you, Erica for representing grade 1 at the grant PTO meeting!

DLC Quick Tip

Did you know that Seesaw has a built-in sample student?

  • Now you can test out an activity before it goes live to your class or try out adding posts to journals!
  • Want to model the work students are going to do in Seesaw with your students? Use "sample student" to guide the students through the learning and how to post to Seesaw.

To toggle this feature on, open your class in Seesaw and click on the class settings wrench in the upper right-hand corner. Scroll down to the student section and toggle the button next to "Enable sample student" to green.

For more information, check out the Seesaw Help Center or contact your DLC.
