Redeemer Kids
06.12.16
Hey Andy, Jillian, Derek, Lai Kein, Leslie, Jon, Sarah, and Josh
This is just a quick reminder that you are scheduled to teach this next Sunday, June 12th. This week we will be on Lesson 38 beginning to go through the book of Numbers. We just finished going through the book of Exodus in our lessons and this last week we got to kick off the Summer watching a movie showing all that we have been learning in the life of Moses and the nation of Israel. This week we will be watching as the people of Israel complain in spite of the Lord's faithful provision. The key Bible truth is "God's mercy spares Israel again, despite their rejection of God."
As you teach through this story, think on your own wayward heart. Try to relate to the Israelites so you can help your kids identify with them. And in identifying with the Israelites as those who complain in spite of the Lord's goodness, they will be able to see the great mercy and grace of God to forgive both Israel and them.
Take some time this week to look over the lesson and activities. Figure out what the story means and how it applies to your own life. Then begin to think about how it applies to the kids in your class.
Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with. I am glad to partner with you in proclaiming the goodness of our God to the coming generation.
Josh
