January is Board of Education Recognition Month


Monday, January 4:

  • Professional Development - No students


Tuesday, January 5:

  • Planning/Prep - No students


Wednesday, January 6:

  • Students return
  • I-Station assessment starts for January -- remember to do an on demand assessment for students you think underperformed
  • Conduct conferences with students using student profile sheets
  • College shirt or school spirit shirt and khakis


Thursday, January 7:

  • I-Station assessment continues for January
  • 2015-16 STAAR Projections and Data document updated with Interim 1, Interim 2 and ACP data
  • PLCs in Data Room (Room 211) -- bring hard copies of lesson plans for next week and hard copies of DOL assessments for next week
  • 2nd grade only - departmentalization items due
  • Conduct conferences with students using student profile sheets
  • SBDM meeting


Friday, January 8:

  • I-Station assessment continues for January
  • Conduct conferences with students using student profile sheets
  • Superhero shirt with jeans


Saturday, January 9:

  • Oak Cliff Community Symposium, 9am-1pm

January 11 - Data desegregation documents due

Janaury 11 - ACP data meetings in Data Room (Room 211)

January 12 - Last day for I-Station monthly assessment

January 12 - District Spelling Bee hosted at Russell

January 13 - Deadline for student profile sheets and conferences

January 13 - I-Station usage and tier movement reports due no later than 4:15pm (remember to highlight tier movement report with appropriate color and circle appropriate names)

January 14 - Parent Conferences

January 14 - I-Station Tier Movement and Tier 1 celebration

January 18 - MLK, Jr., Holiday - No school
