Remind - Communication Tool
We are using Remind to communicate about academic assignments and general announcements.
Remind is a free service that lets me send quick messages via text, push notifications, or email to everyone involved with the class. We’ll be able to stay in touch without revealing our personal contact information.
Parents should feel free to communicate in any methods that work best, email, school phone, parent-teacher conference, etc.
Unit 1.0 Born A Crime
Essential Question: How do our individual stories fit with historical context? How does our experience impact the way we interpret the world?
“You want to live in a world where someone is good or bad. Where you either hate them or love them. But that's not how people are.” (Trevor Noah, Born a Crime).
At the end of this unit, you will write a literary argument in the form of a Book Review. You will be graded both on your ability to analyze literature and your ability to construct an argument and defend your perspective using evidence from a text.
