Mudslide of Doom
Mudslide that kills many and leaves more to be found.
What Happened?
A huge log wall was eventually built to reduce landslide and flood risks. It wasn't enough to hold back the square mile of dirt, sand and silt that barreled down the hill side on March 22. Leaving a lot of people homeless killing at least 30 people.
The Aftermath
A bulldozer try's it's best to clean up all the debris and mud from the disaster.
The burial
A truck is buried with miles of dirt and debris.
From The Outside Looking In
Right on the outskirts of the disaster, a massive cleanup takes place to try and fix the community.
