Welcome to our SHA Family!

Please see below a message from our new Family School Liason Worker. We welcome

Mrs. Cynthia Baroud to our SHA Family.

Happy New Year! My name is Cynthia Baroud and I am excited to share that I will be stepping into the Family School Liaison Worker position for this year at Sacred Heart. I have my Masters in Counselling Psychology and have been practicing as a counsellor in various capacities. I began my career in adult mental health, followed by working as a personal counsellor for high school students. In the last year I was supporting foster and kinship families increase their caregiver capacity and gain a trauma informed lens for the children in their care. This has profoundly informed my work with children. Through my personal faith journey, I acknowledge the importance of it in my work, and treating those I meet as Christ would. I look forward to bringing the knowledge and skills I have gained to Sacred Heart and working alongside families and staff to shape the wellbeing of the students. Some fun facts about me include: I love chocolate, my husband would argue my mug collection is getting too big (I disagree, it is just beginning), I love the outdoors, and summer is my favorite season. I am looking forward to meeting the Sacred Heart community!

Jamani Duo is coming back!

We are very excited to welcome back jamani duo for a wonderful and fun drumming experience this week. Thank you to Parent Council for providing this!

We will forward the links to watch next week.
