Big picture

Weather:

If graduation is postponed, it will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 26 at 6:00p.m. Please be on the lookout for any communication from either the District or BVW related to cancellations. It may be a good idea to bring a small towel to wipe off bleachers in the event of rain before the ceremony.

Unable to Attend:

A Livestream link from Harvest Communications will be provided closer to graduation. Please check the Blue Valley West and Blue Valley District websites . If your student is unable to attend graduation, please contact BVW after the graduation ceremony has taken place to schedule a time to pick up your student's diploma. You can contact the front office by dialing 913-239-3700.

Diplomas, Official Transcripts, Awards & Certificates

After crossing the stage during the graduation ceremony, your student will pick up a white envelope. This envelope contains his/her diploma, immunization record, applicable academic awards and certificates. The diploma your student receives is one of a kind. Please file it somewhere safe. Students will not receive their diploma if they still have an outstanding balance with the school. Official transcripts will not be available until mid-June. Please do not schedule college enrollments prior to this time if you need to provide a final high school transcript to the college.

Seniors! Students who are taking JCCC courses as dual enrollment must wait until all grades have been officially posted to their JCCC student record to request a transcript. If you are also enrolled in a year-long course, you will need to make sure those grades are posted as well before requesting your transcript.

Students can go to www.jccc.edu/transcript, click on the Get My Transcript link, and follow the prompts. For additional information, please visit the College Now FAQ on “How do I order my JCCC transcript to be sent back to my high school for dual credit or to another college?”
