September is Library Card Sign-up Month @ Your Public Library

Support your local library by signing up for a public library card. You will have access to e-books, magazines, and DVDs in addition to print materials! Search their online catalog and request items to be held.

Box Tops & Campbells Soup Labels Needed

The Media Center will have a grade-level Box Tops for Education contest October 21 - November 1. Please save your Box Top UPC’s to send in during that time. The Media Center receives 10 cents from each UPC. Last year we collected over $3,000 in UPC’s. For more information visit

Labels for Education is a great way to receive free merchandise for our school. Please cut the UPC with the Labels for Education logo from participating products and send them in to the Media Center. Lists of the companies participating are available at

SC Book Award Challenge

Our popular reading program has begun! Mrs. Matney booktalked the nominees to students in grades 1-5. Information on the reading goals and cut-off dates was given along with a bookmark for checking off the completed books. The first reading goal of 3 nominees is due by October 18.

Our AMAZING volunteers have been busy helping with special projects to get us ready for the new school year. They have helped Mrs. Matney and Mrs. Bootle process 1,000 new books, 250 iPads, and 40 Chromebooks. We couldn't do it without you ladies!
