Champions for Health will be hosting a free COVID19 and Flu Vaccination clinic at Lemon Grove Academy Middle School.
Date: Saturday, December 11th
Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Roberto Alvarez Auditorium

Flu Vaccine
COVID Vaccines for Adults - first, second, and booster shots available
COVID Vaccines for 12-17 years old - first and second shots
COVID Vaccines for 5-11 years old - first shot (Pfizer) - limited supply, available on a first come, first served basis!

Loyalist vs. Patriots Debate - Mr. Wulftange's Class
In U.S. History class, eighth grade students took part in the annual Loyalist vs. Patriots debate ("Should the colonies declare independence or not?"). It was a mixture of fun and challenging. Students representing historical figures faced their opponents after gathering information, writing essays, and collaborating with their teammates.
Most of all, the debate gave students an opportunity to face their fears (of public speaking) and, like the colonies, create for themselves a different path going forward. At the end of the year, eighth grade students will have the opportunity to participate in the 5th annual Super Debate. The captain of the Helix Speech and Debate team was the MVP of Super Debate.
Debate Club is on Mondays at 3:00 pm. Join us in Room 33!!!
