NPE Rocket News
From Mrs. Buckels
We are gearing up for a busy month! Thanks so much for such a wonderful turnout for our International Night! Everyone enjoyed learning about the countries that our families come from.
We will have an early release day on Friday, Feb. 10th. We are so excited about our Legoland School Fair! We are so appreciative for all the hard work that our PTA has put into getting everything ready for the fair. Also, a big thanks to all our parents who have signed up to volunteer on Saturday. We couldn’t do it without help from everyone! This is the biggest fundraiser that we have at NPE.
Feb. 6-10 is National School Counselors Week. Please be sure to tell Mrs. Murray thank you for being our counselor.
We are looking forward to World Read Aloud Day on Feb. 16th. Each grade level will be Skyping with an author. We will also have other activities on this day.

Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Allowing your children to choose their own books to read at our book fair motivates them to read for pleasure!
Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.
