Stopping by "Musical Morning" today -- one of K-1-2 Room 4's long-standing traditions -- an eager audience celebrated many student performances. Most days, morning meetings throughout campus welcome the enthusiastic presence of parent visitors, and these special occasions up the turnout considerably.

Top Five Things

1. Tuesday is Colorado Gives Day – When we're 100% All In for The Stanley Fund

Every year, we aim for 100% participation in The Stanley Fund to help us reach our annual fundraising goals. Your charitable gifts directly support the student experience, our professional community, educational philosophy and our campus. The Stanley Fund provides resources beyond tuition dollars that support every child’s classroom experience. Help us earn a matching contribution from the Colorado First Foundation; go all in for Stanley and schedule your Colorado Gives Day gift today!

2. Heading into another bustling time of year…

We don’t need a school newsletter to advise us that this time of year can be busy and draining. We all want our kids to feel positive and grounded even as this season tries its darndest to throw us off our game. We’d like to share two engaging parent resources that closely align with Stanley’s school culture and student-centered social-emotional program. Learn more about Making Caring Common and Challenge Success. We look forward to sharing more about the many ways we support wellbeing for our students here at Stanley.

3. Yo, teacher! I'm here!

We can't take attendance without your help. Sending an email to attendance@stanleybps.org (cc your teachers) is the best way to let us know who is attending classes any given day. Drop us a line when your student has a planned absence, doctor's appointment or illness, and we'll record it in the books.

5. Admission video features a peek into life at Stanley

See our program through the eyes of a lifelong learner in our new three-minute "Stanley Prepares" video on stanleybps.org/admission. Kudos to IT specialist and videographer Josh who put the story together for our admission team.

4. Believe it or not! Last Lost & Found of 2018!

The final reckoning of person-less clothes, lunchboxes, backpacks, socks and sundries is on display now through December 7 in the Hambidge Commons. Peruse it or lose it!
