Student Success Team CELEBRATIONS!
- Happy National School Counseling Week! Hats Off to Our Counselors!!
- Kudos to Student Success Team Members Alex Javna and Michelle Bensen for taking the lead on streamlining the school division's supports, processes, and procedures for FBAs, BIPs, and Threat Assessments. Their presentation to the Student Services Team on Tuesday, February 7th was thorough and informative. They will be developing a plan to take their training to the school level shortly. Thank you, Alex and Michelle!
- Special Thanks to Danielle Davis for taking extra steps to ensure the success of her transitioning students. She was up with the roosters on Tuesday, February 2nd. She drove to the bus stops of EACH of the six students who were returning to Petersburg HS. She gave them hugs and words of encouragement, and made sure they knew they had the requisite tools for success in a traditional setting. Congratulations to those six students, and to Ms. Davis and her team for working so hard for their success!
- Sincere gratitude to Crisis Response Team Members Alex Javna, Tricia Crawford-Bell, and Robin Cox for providing grief counseling and support to the Westview Community following the loss of a beloved teacher's family member.

- Recruit, hire and retain quality leaders and teachers who believe their talent and investment of time make a difference
- Establish purpose and direction for the division through the development of a strategic plan
- Create environments conducive to teaching and learning by strengthening relationships within schools
