Book Review by Shanard Bain

What if the life of the world depended on finding one man who could save it. No its not superman, or batman, or spider man. Its Daedalus, the man with the map to the maze to get into camp half blood and destroy all the demigods. Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson must go on a quest and find this man before Luke and kronos dose, or that's the end for camp half-blood. The one catch to this quest is that someone will not return, who is it?

Percy Jackson expected his 1st day of school to be regular like everyone ells. Instead is attacked by by two empousai disguised as cheerleader, he kills one and the other escapes. Knowing he's in danger returns back to camp half-blood. He later learns about the labyrinth a underground maze designed by Daedalus in ancient times. Percy soon learn Luke used the maze before and it was his plan to get around camp half-bloods barrier and get his army in and destroy camp half-blood. If Luke finds Daedalus and get a map of the maze he could later find a way to Olympics and fight the gods.

This book takes place in a maze under camp half-blood, which is the place where Annabeth, Percy, Tyson, and Grover are headed to find Daedalus. Percy is a 15-year-old son of Poseidon, He is the series' narrator and protagonist. Annabeth is 15-year-old daughter of Athena, and one of Percy's closest friends. Grover is a satyr and Percy best friend. His life's ambition is to find pan, the lost god of the wild. Tyson is Percy's Cyclops brother, who works for there dad under water. If you like book the are full of adventure and keep you on your heels, and if your into Greek mythology, this is you. I think this book is good for girls or guys, any age.
