OUR VISION
At BSMS, we will collectively infuse the core values of Eagle Excellence - Success, Organization, Accountability, and Respect while providing a safe learning community that empowers students to love learning and thrive in a global society.
OUR MISSION
The BSMS community prepares students to build successful habits, think independently and excel in a safe, high-quality instructional environment.
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
I am sure that you are aware that the nation is facing teacher shortages, which has also impacted PGCPS. However, I have been working to find dynamic educators to positively impact our B. Stoddert Eagles. In order to provide an innovative instructional program, one impactful change was to adjust the master schedule. Adjusting the master schedule requires us to make School Max temporarily unavailable to students and parents.
Teacher leaders will make sure that students are directed to the correct homeroom classes on the first day of school. We will run a modified schedule the first five days of school to focus on school culture, student expectations, how to read the new schedules, introductory content activities and building positive relationships with educators and peers. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Warm regards… We are better together

- Prince George’s County Health Department - Information and clinics
Maryland State Law (COMAR 10.06.04.03) requires all students enrolled in prekindergarten through Grade 12 to receive age-appropriate immunizations. The school must have proof of immunizations before allowing a student to begin school. If evidence of the required vaccines is not provided, the student will be excluded from school. Students without the required documentation will be temporarily admitted and given twenty (20) calendar days from the date of admission to provide evidence of immunization compliance.

Some PGCPS students still need their regular back-to-school vaccines required by the state to attend public school. The Prince George’s County Health Department will host the following free vaccine clinics for students ages 5-18, regardless of their health insurance coverage:
