Important Notes
- If your child will go home a different way than usual, you will need to write a note. If I do not have a note saying they will go home a different way, I will send them home their normal way.
- Please, please make sure your child has a supply of pencils, paper, and a dry erase marker (black works best).
- Please remember, our day starts at 7:30. Students switch classes at 7:50. Every minute of our day is precious. Thank you.
- Our field trip to the Reed Gold Mine will be May 9.
- As we near the end of our school year, we will begin preparing for state assessments. Please make all attempts to have your child to school on time each day. Thank you.

Field Trip May 9
Please send a bagged lunch with your child unless you ordered one from our cafeteria as indicated on the permission slip. Refrigeration will not be provided, so your child's lunch needs to be something that does not need to be chilled. We are going old school here, folks.
Finally, there is a very small gift shop at Reed Gold Mine. Students will be permitted to go in small groups. Any money sent will be the responsibility of your child. Neither chaperones nor SFL staff will be responsible for your child's money. There will be no need to send a large amount of money with your child as most items cost under $10.00 with many items available for under $5.00.
Students need to dress for walking on trails and possibly getting a little dirty. The mine itself may be cool, so students may want to bring a sweatshirt or light jacket that they can tie around their waist.
Final Exams and EOG Schedule
Below, you will find the schedule for test administration for fourth grade at OUR SCHOOL. Other schools/grades may have different schedules depending on availability of technology and proctors. Please make every effort to not pull your child out during these times or have them tardy. If your child misses an exam, they must make it up. If they miss part of an exam, they must retake the entire exam with a different version. All testing will begin by 8:00 am and should be done by 12:30 each day of testing.
