Coffee and Conversation with ACS' new Superintendent!

One of Dr. Patterson’s top priorities is meeting with local leaders and listening to as many students, staff and stakeholders as possible. Come discuss the latest topics impacting Asheville City Schools and share your ideas to support academic success for all students at Claxton on Tuesday, September 19th at 8am. All parents and community members are welcome to attend! Claxton Elementary really wants a good turnout and good questions asked so she can see how involved our amazing parents are in our schools.

Thank you to Claxton Elementary's 2017 Corporate Sponsors!

The Claxton PTO would like to express deep appreciation and gratitude to the following businesses in our community that have donated to our school. These generous donations enable us to continue wonderful programs such as LEAF in Schools and Streets, Claxton's Storytelling festival, teacher mini grants, field trip scholarships, books and supplies for classrooms and more.
