Fabulous 4th Graders!
We are coming up on week 4 of the third quarter. Students have taken the NWEA Map test (Northwest Evaluation Association - Measures of Academic Progress). This data will guide 4th grade teachers to see what additional concepts and skills are needed in the coming months of this school year.
New to NCVA?
Welcome families to our 4th grade classes and to NCVA. Please focus on W.O.W. classes during your first week and your LIVE classes will begin after January 26th. If you have questions, please reach out via email to your assigned advisor or your students teacher.
FEV Tutoring Services
This service is available and free to NCVA students. If you would like your student to receive tutoring, send an email to the teacher for a referral. FEV Tutoring will contact you to make arrangements to move forward in assisting students and their need.

For math reteach: We have added lessons on Monday's for reteaching past math skills. It is important that students continue to practice math skills we have done in the past. Starting Monday, Dec 14, there will be 1 extra lesson on Monday's that will have a short instructional video or link to practice a skill and a link to take a GoFormative that has 2-4 questions about that topic. This should only take about 30 minutes and you can add this to your math attendance.
Student's have been doing well with this and we are looking forward to seeing growth. THANK YOU!!!
