The 9-8-8 direct, national three-digit line went live July 16, 2022, and accepts calls, texts, and chats. Trained staff members answer all calls, texts, and chats 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, addressing immediate needs and helping connect individuals with care resources. The goal is for 9-8-8 to become as commonly used as 9-1-1, providing appropriate mental health crisis responses for all Georgians.

Red Ribbon Week begins
Starr's Mill Football and Athletics will be sponsoring a fundraiser this Friday in conjunction with Coach to Cure MD and the Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. With this fundraiser, we will be raising funds and awareness to #tackleduchenne and help end it.
Starr's Mill has a student that is suffering from Duchenne and will be the honorary captain for our game with Troup. We are also hoping he speaks for a few minutes pregame. We are asking our fans to wear red on Friday in support. Our coaches will be wearing a patch to draw awareness and our players will be wearing a sticker on their helmets.
We would love to have your support for this event. I will attach the post that will go out starting today.
PTC Kids Marathon : Coaches King & Turk
Running club is in full swing! We are using a system called Stride Track to track the kid's mileage.
If your child runs 25 miles before Oct. 14th then s/he will be invited to the Kid's Marathon that takes place on Oct. 15th before the Peachtree City Classic. We will send the form home before the 14th if they are close to 25 miles. They will run 1.1 miles that morning. You will get an invitation the week of the race to notify you that your child has qualified. The invitation will have all the information you will need for the event.
Pre-K and Kindergarten will be added to running club on Wed., Sept.7th. This is totally optional but we hope they will want to come out and join us!
Thank you for encouraging your child to come to running club!
