- Beneficiary Designation with Aetna, our new Life Insurance Vendor:
Just a reminder that Aetna has recently finalized the mailing of all letters to employees with life insurance coverage, notifying them of the requirement to update their beneficiary information online.
Everyone should have received their beneficiary designation letter by now. For employees who report not receiving this mailing, please
- have them review their mailing address on file with AHS (either HR Online for Destiny facilities or My Hub for PeopleSoft facilities, and
- employees can call the Aetna Beneficiary Management Services phone number at 800-523-5065 and Press #4 to speak to a customer service representative and obtain their USER ID, which is needed to go online and update their beneficiaries without waiting for another letter.
*Employees will need to key in the URL exactly as listed below (or as the Aetna rep provides it to them). It is a secure site. Many employees who have attempted to access the Aetna website from a work computer have experienced access issues to this website within the AHS security network, receiving messages such as "there is a problem with this website's security certificate." Employees may click on the "continue to this website" option and it will bring them directly to the beneficiary site homepage.
