It is a really diverse ecosystem. It is as long as 1,500 miles. It is a climatic barrier. It is also rich in minerals. The different facing slopes have different ecosystems

The Great Rift Valley

Is a real sightseer. It is a geological fault. It can also fluctuate between 1,300 ft below sea level to 6,000 ft above sea level. Erosion has leveled out most of the valley. Goes from center Mozambique to northern Syria.
