A Principal's Perspective
Kinder Q and U wedding, human ice cream sundae, book fair, STEM night, faculty tailgate luncheon, jersey dress up day, Socktober, book character dress up day, Pumpkin Spice Day, PTO appreciation luncheon, jeans day once a week, National Candy Corn Day all are fun campus festivities that mark the month of October. Traditionally October is a difficult one during an academic year. The adrenaline rush and excitement of the beginning of the year have faded. School routines are settling in with our students. And yes a holiday break seems so very far away! To help combat the October Blues (yes it really is a thing - Google it!), I hope you have enjoyed and participated in the faculty fun activities planned to motivate, show appreciation and provide opportunities for the staff to have some fun together at school.
To further combat the October Blues, take care of yourself! To be our very best we have to take time to rest, rejuvenate, have fun, spend time doing things that spark our interest and give us joy such as hobbies, and balance our work and family time. Thank you for all that you do to make Greens Prairie an enriching learning place for our students and a wonderful place to teach!
