CD Bulletin
Dear Country Dale Families,
Last Thursday, students in Mrs. Jass’s classroom had their end-of-unit literary celebration. Students worked to create displays that show something they learned during the Revolutionary War unit which they’ve been studying over the last few weeks. Topics included the Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride and George Washington. Students demonstrated their learning in a variety of ways such as a poster, videos and even puppet shows. During the celebration, students and staff circulated around the room stopping at individual stations and everyone was encouraged to provide written feedback to the students. It was fascinating seeing all of the different ways that students chose to show off their work!

CD MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH
Dear Country Dale Families,
As we begin the month of March, I am excited to share with you that Country Dale Elementary School will be celebrating Music In Our School’s Month. This special month provides an opportunity for music educators and music students around the country to celebrate the power of music and its impact on our lives.
This year’s theme, “Music Is Us”, highlights the unique ways in which music is intertwined with our individual identities and our collective communities. We know that music has the power to connect us, to inspire us, and to provide a sense of joy and comfort, especially during times of stress and uncertainty.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to discuss with your family how music is celebrated in your home and how it has been a part of your family’s history and traditions. Whether it’s singing together during family gatherings, attending concerts or performances, or simply listening to music together, let’s celebrate the role of music in our lives.
As a school, we are committed to providing high-quality music education to our students, and we thank you for your ongoing support in making music an important part of their education. We believe that the benefits of music education will impact our students throughout their entire lives, and we are proud to celebrate Music In Our School’s Month with you.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students’ education.
Best regards,
Mrs. Suzanne Payne

Registration opened on Monday, December 5th for the 2023-24 school year on our website here. Registration is for any new families to Franklin or new students looking to register for next year in 4K, 5K or up through 12th grade. If you have any friends or family in Franklin that plan to have children attend Franklin Public Schools next year, please pass this information along to them! Registering early helps to get all information in our system for planned communications.
Please note that any student that is already attending Franklin Public Schools DOES NOT need to register for next school year as a new student. This includes students already in Preschool Speech, Early Childhood, and 4K. All parents/guardians will be required to review your student’s data during our summer Back-To-School Online Check-In process.
