Reminder: VIRTUAL Parent Teacher Conferences Next Week: October 28 & 29
Parents will receive more communications next week about conferences. Your attention to them is appreciated!
In an effort to reduce COVID exposures, cases and quarantines so that we can keep our students in school, conferences will take place entirely online across the district this fall. Students in grades 2-5 should plan to attend with their families and students in kindergarten and first grade should not.
Teacher specific sign up links were sent out to families. Please contact our office at 503-431-4200 or email bridgeportoffice@ttsd.k12.or.us with questions or if you will need help accessing your conference online.
Fall Class Parties Information:
- Students will have their Fall Parties in their class
- PTO Will provide every class with a "party in a box" which will include fall-inspired activities.
- PTO will provide each student with a goodie bag of treats
- All students will participate in a school-wide dance party
- Tualatin Together is providing gratitude journals and pumpkins for each student
**NOTE: If you plan to send goodie bags for your student's entire class, please make sure the bags do not include anything edible. Stickers, pencils, and erasers are great goodie bag fillers!

It's a "GO" for volunteers back in the building!
We are looking forward to welcoming volunteers back into our building starting on November 1!
- All volunteers must complete their background checks and be fully vaccinated, showing their vaccine card. Volunteers must also wear a mask at all times and maintain six feet of distance from students and other adults.
- Please pre-arrange volunteer visits with your student's teacher prior to coming to school. If you are interested in volunteering to support your student's class, please reach out directly to the teacher. To support PTO events and projects, please reach out to bridgeportvolunteercoordinator@gmail.com.
Extra clothes for rainy days:
We find that students are coming to the office quite often with a need for a change of clothes for various reasons. At this time we have very little clothing left to loan to students.
We would highly encourage parents to send an extra set of clothing with their children to keep in their backpacks. This also avoids us having to call parents during the day to bring clothes to school.
If we have loaned your children clothing, please feel free to return them to the office.
If you have any gently used pants for both boys and girls you would like to donate to our Health Room, that would be greatly appreciated!
