Message from the principal...
Dear Maine Lion Families~
Have a great Spring Break!
Your partner in education,

March Leader in Me Focus - Habit 6 - Synergize
Habit 6 is Synergize. This means that together is better!
Habits at Home ~ Habit 6 ~ Synergize
Here are ways to celebrate Habit 6 at home:
- Conduct some fun experiments that show how much easier it is to do a job with the help of another person rather than alone. For example, try to make a bed, carry a heavy box, or lift a large table by the edge with one hand. Then invite others to participate and help. Use your imagination and come up with your own experiments to demonstrate the need for synergy.
- Pretend that you are stranded in your home for an entire month with just your family. Ask: What kind of family synergy is available for us to draw on to make it through—and perhaps even enjoy—the challenge? Create a list of contributions each family member could make, for example:

Happy St Patricks Day from our Kindergarten Classes
Do you want to Build a Snowman
We finally had the perfect day to build our snowmen for our Helping Hands Reward. We earned our first 500 helping hands and celebrated with hot chocolate and snowman building however we needed to wait for the perfect day to build.
The Lorax
We earned our 2nd Helping Hands reward. Great job Maine Lions! Our reward was going to the movie "The Lorax".
First grade filled the popcorn jar
My class filled their popcorn jar and as their reward, they voted for Dress Like a Teacher Day! Here are some pictures of their outfits.

Please make sure you are sending your children to school with the MAGIC FIVE (jacket, hat, mittens, snowpants, and boots). Students will need snowpants and boots in order to play in the snow.
If you are in need of winter gear for your child(ren), please contact Miss Sears at 715-261-0254.
Families we could use your help. For those of you that have had your child sent home in clothing from the health room could you please return as soon as possible as we are running extremely low. With that being said, our health room could use some gently used clothing for our students that may be needing it during the school day. Our biggest size needs are, 6/7 and 8/10 for girls and boys, shirts and pants. Thank you all for you kindness and support.
