BISDTHINKS!
BISDTHINKS!: Last year, BISD conducted a soft launch of a research and writing program with congressional and state legislative offices. This year, we will expand the program at campus request. Any interested secondary student will be able to pick from selected topics and write a 500 word position statement about the same. Student work will be published in legislative newsletters and participating students will also be given special consideration for other opportunities, such as internships and other legislative programs. Please share this information with your ELA, Social Studies, and CTE teachers upon their return and ask them to contact Academic Innovation at ext. 1133 or Lbenderjutzi@bisdmail.net if interested in this opportunity for their students.
Map testing Window
The windows for Map testing are below. Please note that science will be added during the window for the 18-19 school year. Specific testing dates will be sent out very soon so that ELA, Math, and Science teachers may adjust their lesson planning.
