Counselor's Corner - August, 2017
BF welcomes new School Counselor!
Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Corrine (Cory) Rutt to Ben Franklin Elementary School. Mrs. Rutt comes to us from the Fair Haven School District where she served approximately 550 students; providing individual and group counseling, classroom guidance lessons, and more. Mrs. Rutt has also worked on a volunteer and professional basis at Good Grief, a nearby nonprofit organization dedicated to helping grieving children and their families cope with the death of a loved one. She earned her master's degree from Rider University, where she graduated at the top of her class and was honored with an award for academic excellence and leadership in counseling services.
"I am so excited to join the Ben Franklin community and to get to meet each of the students very soon! Like all the staff here, I am committed to helping your children grow into life-long learners and responsible citizens. I hope you will contact me if I can assist your family in any way."
Mrs. Rutt can be reached by phone (609-671-5540) or email (crutt@ltps.org).
