Vision for the Future of Lombard District 44
Following five months of work by a 44-person team of stakeholders, officials in Lombard District 44 unveiled what they are calling a new way to define success for students and for schools.
On Wednesday, Superintendent Ted Stec shared with staff and parents an overview of the Lombard District 44 Strategic Plan, which still remains in draft form. Stec will be meeting with community members and staff from throughout the district during the month of February to gather additional feedback before finalizing the plan.
“We are incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplish through the Connect 44 Strategic Planning Process. However, we want to remain open to additional ideas and insights from our community that can further strengthen this critical roadmap of priorities for our district,” Stec said.
Meetings have already been scheduled at every school in the district for Stec to discuss the plan with staff members. He also encourages parents and community members to attend the February 26th PTA Council meeting where he will also share more information and seek their input. This has been scheduled for 7pm at the John Schroder Early Childhood Center.
We Want Your Input on the Strategic Plan!
Superintendent Ted Stec will share more information about the strategic planning process, gather additional input and answer questions.
We thank PTA Council for hosting us and letting us join their meeting in order to have this conversation with our community. Coffee will be provided.
Not able to join the meeting? Please share with us your thoughts today about the plan by e-mailing Director of Communications & Strategic Planning Jenn Nimke at jnimke@sd44.org.
