Sponsor Teacher Spotlight
Our Sponsor Teacher Shelby Theriault:
I am super excited to be back at Family Partnership! Here's a little about me..... I am a life-long Alaskan. I graduated from UAA with honors and served as Vice President of the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society. I have also taught classes and was a sponsor teacher for Family Partnership for a few years, grades K-12.
As a family, we love the outdoors! We love to camp, fish and hike. We also love baseball! Our sons plays on several teams, including a traveling team, which makes the flexibility of the program a perfect fit for us. I'm also a horse person. I grew up showing horses and continue my love of equines.
I am passionate about homeschooling and all of the options parents have to guide their children's education. We have a son that is going into 8th grade this year, and he is dual enrolled, which means he has some classes online through Goldenview Middle School and some classes through Family Partnership. Even he is excited about having so many choices! I look forward to serving the families of Family Partnership and getting all of the 'new to the program' parents up and running!
