Fr. Jerry Scanlon
It is with great sadness that we share the news that our beloved, Fr. Jerry Scanlon passed away on Wednesday. He was often seen in the school and at church interacting with our students and always giving them a few pieces of candy! He always told us, "We have the best staff and students ever."

We are anticipating a large crowd for the wake, therefore we will be holding an early dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. We understand this is short notice, therefore, we will be opening our extended day for families that may not be registered. If you are planning to send your child to extended day, please contact Mrs. Andrea Kaminski at a_kaminski@stdamianschool.org. We will still hold bus service and students will eat lunch at school.
Our students will be making sympathy cards for Fr. Jerry's family. If you would like for your child to attend the funeral with you on own his/her own, please call Mrs. Ruzevich in the school office to make arrangements.
Physical Education Classes
Mrs. Vicki Ringbauer will be subbing for him for the duration.
We are delighted that we are able to find a sub like Mrs. Ringbauer and wish Mr. Fawkes a speedy recovery. We know the students will miss him!
