Shield Testing 12-7-21
James Hart School tested 669 students and staff through Shield on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, and there were ten positive cases. There were also three other positive cases reported to the school. The positive cases and the close contacts have been personally notified about quarantine procedures. Classroom notifications have been emailed. The final results will be posted to the COVID dashboard on the HSD 153 web page.
Dads on Duty
We are starting Dads on Duty at James Hart! We are looking for a few Dads that have flexibility with work hours. The responsibilities would include getting to know our James Hart students and sharing positive conversations while guiding students to get to class on time. We want to promote a positive and safe environment for all!
Hours that we are looking for Dads: 7:45-10 AM, 11-1 PM, and 1:30-2:45 PM.

Walking Home From School
Morgan Street at Dismissal
We will be blocking off the Morgan Street entrance and not allowing cars to pull in once our buses arrive and students are loading the buses at dismissal. The entrance will be reopened once buses depart around 2:40 or 2:45 pm.

Please make sure to remind your child about the importance of proper mask-wearing during the school day.
