back in time
On Wednesday, Year 3 visited Murton Park (Yorkshire Museum of Farming in York) as part of their learning challenge 'Who lived in Britain First?'. They spent the day in a Stone Age village, and to add to the experience they were provided with Stone Age costumes. The children were able to complete a number of fun tasks including:
- making stone age pots from clay
- hunting practice using spears
- farming using stone age tools
- cave painting
