Coming soon....
I'm very excited about our new home and the resources we will have. I'd like to share a few of those with you a bit early.
Deanna Seigler, Media Specialist
I'm very happy to be a part of our amazing new school. I can't wait to get in and check it all out. This will be my 8th year in Little Elm, having previously worked at Hackberry and Brent, and my 11th year teaching. In case you are wondering what a Media Specialist does, it is a hybrid of librarian and technologist, bridging skills between both. I hold a Master of Science degree from UNT in Information Science as well as a Bachelor of Music Education from Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, TX. I am certified to teach 4-8 general studies, PK-12 Library/Media, PK-12 Technology, and PK-12 Music. I live in Denton with my husband Andy, son Caleb, cat Smudge and dogs Jellybean and Roxy.

Follett Shelf
Follett Shelf is the home of our eBook collection. To read any book in our collection use
Login: prestwick
Password: prestwick
Once school starts, all students will have a specific login that is their own which will direct them to age-appropriate choices, allow them to check out to read offline, and let them highlight and take notes. If you would like this function turned on before summer is over, drop me an email at dseigler@leisd.ws and include your student's name, grade level and student id# (they may know it as their lunch number) and I will set it up.
Symbaloo
Symbaloo is a visual representation of our library links. Below is a link to our basic setup but I will be adding additional webmixes for various grade level tools and projects throughout the year. Visit prestwickmedia.symbaloo.com for links to many of our resources. This page will change as additional items are added to our collection of resources. If you have trouble accessing any of the items, try leisd lobo123 as that is standard districtwide

Scholastic Bookfair
Our very first bookfair will be right before Thanksgiving break. This is a great opportunity to find excellent holiday gifts for your kids or just help them enjoy reading. Bookfair is always an exciting time and I look forward to sharing the excitement with our kids.
