British Burn Washington!
One of the most worst experience for Washington. The President's Mansion was burned down with some other important buildings. Finally after this terrible event, they rebuilt it but, because it was black and burned, they had to paint it white. The reason for this burning was because United States attacked Canada and British a lot. This lead to British wanting revenge, so they attacked Washington. This was a bad experience but, lead to the The White House!
