Welcome to the weekly newsletter for Tison Middle School! The goal for this newsletter is to provide information on Tison programs, activities, and events for students, parents, and our community.

PARENT MEETING FOR ARENA SCHEDULING

There will be a parent meeting for arena scheduling on April 18th at 6:00 PM at the Ninth Grade Center. Arena scheduling opens for 8th grade the following morning at 6:30 AM for those who register off-campus and at 7:30 AM for those who would rather register here at Tison. (Please check in at the main office first.)


The window for registering will close on April 22nd. Many class choices are made on a "first come, first serve basis" so it is important to attend the parent meeting and to register as quickly as possible.

SEEKING iSCHOOL STUDENT ADVOCATES FOR 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR

Weatherford ISD is participating in the iSchool Initiative, which is a program to train high school and middle school students to be student leaders in their district’s mobile technology initiative.


We are entering Phase 1 of the iSchool Inititiave Program, which is Student Application. The district is collecting student applications to be an iSchool student advocate for next school year.


If your Tison student is interested in applying to become an iSchool student advocate, please have him or her complete the application found on this website:

FC TISON SOCCER BEGINS APRIL 19TH

FC Tison (intramural soccer league) will begin games on April 19 (weather permitting). Games will take place on the Tison practice field.

TISON STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

IYANA DORSEY, 8TH GRADER

Iyana was nominated by one of her teachers because she is involved in a lot of Tison activities and continually seeks to be an active, helpful student at Tison. In order to get to know Iyana better, she completed a "20 Questions in 60 Seconds" questionnaire. Below are her answers:
