Dolphins
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be sea creature in the Coral Reef? Well, the dolphin lives in one of the most amazing places for sea life to live, the Coral Reef. These amazing creatures have fascinating life cycle and reproduction, movement, and habitat.
A dolphins habitat
A dolphins movement
The dolphin can move in many different ways. First, the dolphin moves by swimming. They move in three different systems. They use the muscular, skeletal, and nervous system to move. The nervous system is responsible for a dolphins fast coordination. Did you know that dolphins have seventy-five vertebrates? This is most than other mammals. The dolphins skeleton helps shape and support the body, it helps protect internal organs, and it allows movement for body parts. You can’t go wrong with the dolphins movement.
A dolphins reproduction
The dolphins life cycle and reproduction is quite similar to humans. You better believe that most dolphins when their born have a mustache. Dolphins don’t begin to mate until they’re five to eight years old. That’s for a male. Most individuals live to be over 20 years old. But it depend on where they live. For a female, its age is five to thirteen years old. They also do social bonding as well. Sometimes, the male can get impatient with the female and not want to breed. It’s not often that dolphins give birth to twins. The shortest time to have a baby is one year. The orca Dolphin takes seventeen months (One year Five months) to breed. Like I said, it all depends on its species. Most of the time, it’s just singles.
