Titan Families,
Thank you for all of your hard work as we continue navigating eLearning. We know that this year's spring break may look a bit different this year than they have in the past but we wish you a restful spring break filled with happiness and memories!

School Counselors' Corner
Hello Titan Family. We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we want to be able to support you as much as possible. We encourage you to check out our new and improved school counseling website as there are resources to help you as you as you navigate these challenging times. You will also find links to websites and activities that you can use with your child(ren) to support social and emotional learning. We'll be sure to update the website with new resources and activities often. Please feel free to reach out to us if we can be of any help during this time.

Information from our School Psychologist, Rachel Pickel
Hey there - It's Rachel Pickel, TCES School Psychologist. With the help of several other psychologists in the district, I've compiled a list of resources that can be helpful for parents, students, and teachers during these unprecedented times. The resources include supports for talking to your children about COVID-19, as well as tools and strategies to support student mental health, behavioral concerns, children diagnosed with Autism, students struggling with stress and anxiety, and many other concerns.
My site, Mrs. Pickel's Place, can be accessed by following the link below - CLICK HERE.
Please take a look and feel free to reach out to me if I can be of help. It's also a working document, so keep checking back for more resources added weekly! pickelr@fortmillschools.org

Update on eLearning:
INFORMATION ON ELEARNING FROM FMSD:
The district will observe Spring Break, as we traditionally do, to allow a much needed break for our students, parents and staff. This new way of learning, coupled with the stresses caused by the situation in our nation, have been overwhelming for some families. We believe this break will give everyone a chance to reset, rest and prepare to resume the eLearning process following the break.
The eLearning schedule is as follows:
- April 4 through April 13 – Spring Break
- April 16 and April 17 – Packet pickup at your school for students without access to digital tools at home.
- April 16: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- April 17: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Students can continue to return completed work electronically to their teacher. Students completing paper assignments should keep their work until we return to school or until alternative instructions are determined.
