LVE Students Continue MAP Testing
Throughout the past three weeks, Lakeview students in Grades 3-6 have been participating in the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP). MAP is one way we measure student achievement as well as our progress with curricular and state goals and standards. As we move into our final week of testing, please continue to help our students shine by making sure they get plenty of rest each night and have a healthy breakfast each day. We also ask that you ensure that your child arrives to school each day on time and you avoid scheduling appointments during testing hours. Finally, we recommend that you talk to your child about doing his or her best on the test, but not to the extent that he or she is worried or stressed. This is not a test for which students study; it is a chance for them to show what they know!

News from Child Nutrition
For the remainder of the school year, the lunch menu will consist of one popular item and a Manager's Special. This is in an effort to control the food cost for the remainder of the year, as schools are trying to use their current inventory.
The menus have been changed in Nutrislice and are visible to parents.
