We Need Jesus!
It's a new year - 2015. It’s a time when many of us evaluate our lives...where we are and where we want to go. Whom do we need in our lives? There is someone we ALL need. We all need Jesus. Even our preschool friends need Jesus. And, that’s what we’re sharing with them this month.
Each week, they will hear a story of someone who needed Jesus in a very big way (the blind man, the deaf man, the lame man, etc.).
Sometimes preschoolers need Jesus for some pretty big things, too. We want them to know that He is there with them each and every day to love them and to help them. What an amazing Savior He is!
January Memory Verses
· the Sabbath – Hold your hands up about head high – palms facing away from you, and then move your right hand in a clockwise circle and your left hand in a counterclockwise circle as if you were washing a window with both hands
· day – Bend left arm at elbow and lay it in front of you, with palm down as if you were resting it on a table waist-high. Place your right elbow on top of your left hand (making a 90 degree angle). Extend pointer finger on the right hand and then let right arm fall onto the left arm as if the sun were setting for the day.
· To keep – Make a ‘K’ on each hand using thumb, pointer, and index fingers. Keep left ‘K’ about chest-high and bring right ‘K’ (from chin level) down to meet it as if to stick the two hands together.
· It holy - hold left hand flat with palm facing up. Take pointer and index
fingers from your right hand and place them on your left wrist – rubbing them
from wrist down the palm and off the tips of your left hand.
