Stephen Stevko

A HUGE shout out to Junior, Stephen Stevko, for achieving the Boy Scout rank of Eagle Scout on June 29, 2015. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest level a Boy Scout can achieve. Stephen is a member of Boy Scout Troop 937 which is located in Southlake, Texas. Stephen’s Eagle Project involved cutting and clearing a brand new trail in Katie’s Woods located on the shores of Lake Grapevine. He led a group of 22 volunteers on a hot, humid Texas summer day in July of 2014. The trail his team cut/cleared was a half mile in length, 3-6 feet wide and 10 feet high. Each end of the trail joined to an existing trail. These trails were requested by the Grapevine Parks and Recreation department as a means to offer hiking and biking opportunities to visitors to the lake. This project allowed Stephen an opportunity to plan the project, interact with members of Grapevine Parks and Recreation, supervise the activity and critique the project. Way to go, Stephen - CHHS is so proud of you!

Thank you PARENTS, Heritage Middle school coaches, Grapevine Middle School Coaches, Colleyville middle school coaches, CHHS ADMIN (our principals are awesome!!), football, cheer, baseball, basketball, softball and pep boys (sorry if we missed any groups!!!) for your support and making it ROWDY at the games! You definitely contribute to the final score, especially when those 5 gamers come around!!

The Panther Volleyball teams played Pearce on Tuesday night at home.

9B won, JV won in 2 and the Varsity won in 5 close ones in what could arguably be the best game they've played this year!

Last Friday, Volleyball traveled to Aledo and 9B, 9A,and JV won. Varsity lost in 4 close games.

On Saturday, the JV traveled to Frisco and came out 2nd in the Silver bracket losing to a very competitive ready team. Wins in the tournament were vs. DeSoto and Rockwall Heath.
