Who Was Ben Franklin
By Dennis Brindell Fradin (lexile 812)
my favorite part in the book
I liked that Ben Franklin made lots of things but one of my most favorite things about him is that he made the silk kite and it helped him get lightning into a jar and he named it a leyden jar. He also invented the rocking chair, bifocals, the Franklin Stove, the lightning rod. He also was created the first volunteer fire company, signed the Declaration of Independence and was the Governor of Pennsylvania.
